VolkerFitzpatrick is celebrating after receiving three International Safety Awards from the British Safety Council this year.
Now in their 65th year, the International Safety Awards recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world, which have demonstrated, to the satisfaction of the scheme’s independent judges, their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the previous calendar year.
This year, VolkerFitzpatrick achieved Distinctions for its work on The Apex in Camden and on the A38(M) Tame Valley Viaduct Strengthening project and a Merit for the Ilford and Romford Stations Upgrade project. All three awards reflect the business’ commitment to health, safety and wellbeing during 2022.
Andrew Battye, health and safety director for VolkerFitzpatrick, said: “It is fantastic to receive this recognition of our commitment to safety across the business. The safety and wellbeing of everyone working on our behalf is of paramount importance to us, and these awards reflect our commitment and the significant achievements of the past year.”
