Strategic Highways
As a major tier 1 contractor and National Highways framework partner, we play a key role in providing multi-faceted engineering services to keep these vital arteries running, ensuring smoother, safer, less congested journeys for everyone.
We are incumbent on National Highways Delivery Integration Partnership (DIP) and Scheme Delivery (SDF) frameworks, delivering highways infrastructure, structural repairs, waterproofing, expansion joints and cathodic protection works.
Local Government
We undertake highway and public realm improvement schemes for local authorities across the UK. Our highways contracts cover a wide range of infrastructure projects, from regeneration to structural work - for example on bridges and retaining walls - and paving contracts. VolkerFitzpatrick’s highways offering provides bypasses, trunk and urban roads and motorway projects and makes residential and commercial developments viable.
We also have a modern fleet of concrete paving and slip form plant and equipment. We have laid in excess of 2,500,000m2 of concrete pavements in the past decade.
