Now in its 67th year, the International Safety Awards recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world, which have demonstrated, to the satisfaction of the scheme’s independent judges, their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the previous calendar year.

This year, VolkerFitzpatrick achieved Distinctions for our work on Kingston Cromwell Road Bus station, Heathrow Airport and Canterbury Viaduct (SRE). VolkerFitzpatrick also received a pass for Radlett SFRI. These awards reflect the business’ commitment to health, safety and wellbeing during 2024.

Andy Battye, Health and Safety Director, VolkerFitzpatrick commented, "This recognition from the British Safety Council serves to reinforce our continuing strategy and commitment to keeping our workers and workplaces healthy and safe. In doing so, we ensure that we can experience excellence in the workplace for our employees, clients and stakeholders, which couldn’t be achieved without the ongoing effort and diligence of our teams.”

These award recognitions reaffirm VolkerFitzpatrick's unwavering commitment to continually enhancing the health, safety, and well being of our people, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
