At VolkerFitzpatrick we are excited to strengthen our support for local charity Teens Unite this year, reflecting our commitment to making a positive impact—not only through the projects we deliver but also by championing causes that align with our core values.
Over the past year, VolkerFitzpatrick has raised over £40,000 for Teens Unite through employee-led fundraising initiatives such as the Three Peaks Challenge, sky-diving, a darts competition and cake sales, as well as donating time and resources to the charities projects.
Building on this momentum, we’re dedicated even further to helping Teens Unite achieve their £3.5 million fundraising goal to transform 'The House of Teens Unite'—England’s first retreat for teenagers and young adults living with and beyond cancer. Located near our head office, this retreat will take two years to complete and will offer a space for activities and short residential stays, empowering young people to live positively during and beyond their cancer journey.
In 2025, we’ll not only participate in new fundraising efforts but will also contribute volunteers and professional expertise to support the development of this groundbreaking retreat.
Teens Unite is devoted to supporting young people battling cancer, helping them rebuild their confidence, overcome isolation, and achieve their goals. The charity provides a range of activities, workshops, and support programs tailored to the needs of young cancer patients.
In addition to our commitment to Teens Unite, VolkerFitzpatrick continues to support CRASH charity, where we have proudly served as a Patron for 10 years. Through this partnership, we contribute to various construction projects that benefit homelessness charities and hospices.
