VolkerFitzpatrick strikes gold at RoSPA Awards 2015

VolkerFitzpatrick is among the winners of the RoSPA Awards 2015, after receiving the prestigous RoSPA Gold Medal.

The Gold Medal award is presented to organisations that win five consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards and demonstrate continued excellence in occupational health and safety and commitment to continuous improvement. This year saw VolkerFitzpatrick win an impressive seventh consecutive Gold Award.

Steve Bridgen, head of HSQE at VolkerFitzpatrick said: “I am delighted that VolkerFitzpatrick has received this prestigious award. To achieve seven consecutive Gold Awards is a great achievement and a testament to the work we as business do to ensure the safety of all our employees.”

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “The RoSPA Awards encourage improvement in occupational health and safety management. RoSPA is the UK's family safety charity. Their mission is to save lives and reduce injuries covering all ages and stages of life.

The RoSPA Awards are open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes across the UK and overseas and have been held annually for nearly 60 years. Awards are presented in areas such as overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
