Over the years, VolkerFitzpatrick has worked on many aviation frameworks, including with Gatwick and Stansted Airports. We have also recently been awarded a contract to deliver new infrastructure at Heathrow airport, as a part of the H7 framework.
Heathrow Airport - Runway rehabilitation
Much of our current work is repeat business, based on a record of successfully delivered contracts - on time and to budget. Over the last 10 years we have laid in excess of 2 million metres of Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) at UK airports.
Airport infrastructure works are a core part of our business and our teams are experienced in providing the engineering skills and technologies necessary to deliver both airside and landside support facilities.
We understand the need for maximum safety and security within this ‘live' environment. Utilising our own batching plants and pavers to lay PQC, we work within tight timeframes, minimising lead times to reduce the impact of our works on customers and end users.
