VolkerFitzpatrick win place on Gatwick's £1.2bn framework
VolkerFitzpatrick is one of ten contractors who have secured a place on Gatwick Airport's £1.2 billion new major works framework, which will deliver a programme of improvements and upgrades across the airport comprising of both building and civil engineering packages.
The four-year framework will let contracts of between £30m and £50m on average, and up to £80m. Works will involve complex design, mechanical, electrical, engineering, construction works and management services.
Gatwick's innovative approach to risk management is at the heart of the new contracts - focusing on getting the best value, not just lowest price, that ensures maximum efficiency and a greater emphasis on safety and engagement working with its 10 contractors.
